I’m a San Diego native and a product of San Diego Unified School District. My parents continue to live in San Diego, just up the 5 freeway in Clairemont and they still live in my childhood home! After graduating from Clairemont High School, I attended SDSU and received my teaching credential and Master’s Degree in Special Education from National University. I’ve been teaching in the district for 16 years and have held various jobs in special education from being a day class teacher to supporting teachers as a special education office program resource teacher.
