Guidance Counselor -School Counselor
Hello LMEC parents and students! I am excited for the opportunity to get to know all of you this school year! A little about me, I have been a School Counselor since 2014 and previously worked as a special education aide for three years. I received my bachelor's in psychology and sociology at Texas A&M University. I then received my Master's in School Counseling from Point Loma Nazarene University. I have a husband who is also a School Counselor, and together we have a 7-year-old daughter. Outside of my work as a counselor, I enjoy time with my extended family. We have a big family and get together frequently. On a personal level, my main hobby is collecting plants, yes that really is a thing! I like to collect plants from all over the world, and I love to wake up and see how they have grown each day. But that's enough about me, feel free to come up and say hello anytime you see me around campus, getting to know you all is one of the main joys of my job :)
